They believe that actions speak louder than words! Their motto is: "Year after year, rider after rider, known for producing champions! Let's develop the champion in YOU!"
• The Sorensens have trained many National and International award-winning riders! Four of the National Top Ten riders at the Arabian Youth Nationals were trained by Reid and Linda Sorensen
• The Sorensens have a student who began representing the United States internationally in competition at 15 years of age. This young rider began training with the Sorensens when she was just 7 years old.
Success At Sorensen Park Is A Habit! There are several reasons for this - first and foremost is respect and individual attention given to each person. Second is the knowledge, education and experience possessed by Reid and Linda. Both have university degrees. They've owned their equestrian business and taught riding for over 26 years. Their equestrian education includes studying with such greats as Olympic competitor and coach from Sweden, Major Andres Lindgren and Col. Auge Sommer, an Olympic judge from Denmark. They've also studied with the exceptional teacher Violet Hopkins and the legendary Sally Swift, as well as many other Olympic coaches, trainers and riders.
Linda's degree in physical therapy gives her unusual success in the diagnosis and correction of problems that block the progress of many riders. She's been able to help professional and amateur riders to increased show ring success. In the early years, the Sorensens taught horseback riding to students who were mentally and/or physically challenged. This experience taught Reid and Linda many things - the ability to teach with compassion, understanding and patience, and the ability to approach each student with a teaching style that is best suited for their individual needs.
